Trippin through the Mountains of Coorg

 A Call from Hills

Mountains have creator's essence in them, plainly so beautiful and pristine you cannot be far from them for a longer period of time because they'll call you.

It was so early at dawn that my eyes wouldn't stretch open but we had to rush our packing and had to proceed towards our journey ahead.

A calling of mountains caused my husband to plan a trip to COORG, a lush green hill station located in the lap of Western Ghats of Karnataka at at altitude of 3000 ft.

We had taken our own rental car and had driven all the way from Bangalore to Coorg (242 kms) and way back.

                                                        View from Raja's Seat

As I am very fond of Monastries he had to take me to the Tibetan Buddhist Golden temple, near Bylakuppe and in Kushalnagara.

The trip was off to a great start with all bells chiming and mantras healing our senses.
Deep green forests and trailing turns with handful of drizzling made our ride auspiciously beautiful.

Dripping on the clouds and steering through the Cauvery waters you might also wanna visit into the place of Godly hills where nothing but serene nature will guide you to heal and mend your soul inside out.

Oh the Abbey Waterfalls were a delightful sight with its echoing sound travelling through forests made everyone mesmerize on its beauty. The landscapes through steep turns and bends of Coffee plantations took us to the highest peaks of all 'Talakaveri' the origin of Cauvery River.

You might wanna wonder on its landscaped hills and valley traversing the ranges of Western Ghats.
Although its a serene place for nature lovers however it never diminishes hopes for adventure lovers too.

Next day we took our toll to 'Dubare Elephant Camp' which offered us the sight of Elephants bathing in Cauvery and sports on Cauvery waters.
We opted to Raft in Cauvery waters which was a real fun!!
